PERSONAL TRAINING

EXERCISE IS MEDICINE – AND THE DOSE MATTERS!

We offer three types of services under Personal Training-

Mat Pilates (customized)

● Elementary understanding of how your body moves, how it aligns itself and how it responds to injury/improper alignment or biomechanics is taught to all our clients here.

● Most people (useful for general population) benefit from Mat Pilates. People who are fairly active and are looking for a form of fitness to challenge themselves away from their routine, should opt for Mat Pilates.

● Clients are given 4 Personal Training hourly sessions along with one complimentary physiotherapy session, thrown in for the client’s benefit. This complimentary session has been found to be useful in cases of injury during training OR for healing chronic Neuro musculoskeletal issues (Chronic back pain, Recurrent Knee pain). This Complimentary session acts as a preventive form of treatment in an attempt to avoid injury as well.

● Mat Pilates is a form of Low impact exercise that uses the entire body in order to build strength, tone muscles and create a long, lean body frame.

● Mat Pilates teaches the foundations of Pilates exercises and is also perfect for those who want to try a toning class that is gentle on their joints.

● Through a series of floor exercises using resistance bands and rings, this workout helps build, sculpt and tone important muscles (Abdominals, Lower back muscles, Pelvic floor, Hips and Glutes). Pilates aids in flexibility and improves posture, as stretching the body is a vital part of Mat Pilates.

● While low impact, Pilates also burns Fat during and After the session, as the client continues to burn calories long after the class ends.

A client performing advanced Abdominal Strengthening exercises without the use of expensive gym equipments.

Reformer Pilates (customized)

● Thorough knowledge of Mat Pilates helps most people get in tune with their bodies and with normal body biomechanics. This is when the client is shifted to Reformer Pilates.

● The major difference between Mat Pilates and Reformer Pilates is Resistance. The Reformer is a piece of equipment made up of pulleys, springs, bars, cables, and straps. Once a beginner is trained in Mat Pilates, she/he finds the Reformer less complex and daunting to tone up muscles in a short period of time.

● In other words, Mat Pilates is the foundation for learning to control the muscles while reformer training is for improving strength through resistance.

● For some candidates, we provide a combination of both Mat Pilates and Reformer Pilates.

● Our one-on-one Reformer Pilates sessions are customized and are in line with the musculoskeletal issues that our clients complain of.

● After every 4 Reformer Pilates sessions, we give one complimentary session of Physiotherapy which helps the client get in tune with their bodies, in order to avoid injuries OR in order to treat Chronic injuries.

One on One training is given to clients on the Pilates Reformer.

Biomechanics Correction Consultation

● We provide a specialized service of Biomechanical corrections to Exercise techniques. This is a first-of-its-kind service in Thane.

● Whether you’re a trained athlete/ trainer or whether you are heavily experienced in exercise training – it always helps to know where you could be going wrong. Whether the quality OR the form of exercise training OR the technique of an exercise that you’re doing is biomechanically faulty or effective will go a long way.

● Whether you are doing HIIT, SIT, MICT, Yoga, or Crossfit – not knowing where you are going wrong biomechanically can cause grave, irreversible injuries. Play it safe by knowing whether the Biomechanics of your exercise is performed correctly. Know the right form for every exercise! The skill lies behind performing the exercise correctly. All benefits of exercise without the ill-effects of injury lie in whether the exercise is being performed right. Consult with us to know if your exercise is biomechanically sound!

● In the process of learning the Biomechanics of Exercise, we also assess you so that you are aware of your physical compensatory patterns / faults which do not allow loading of the intended musculature during exercise/activity.

● Through this Consultation, You will know whether you are recruiting the right Musculature during an exercise in order to gain maximum strength/power/endurance benefits.
